The dress has a high mandarin or Chinese collar (band collar) and modest, short sleeves, providing a neat, tailored finish around the neck and shoulders. It is made from a rich Ankara fabric with a warm, autumnal palette.

The dominant color is a bright, deep mustard yellow or gold, featuring a lush, swirling botanical or vine pattern in russet brown, burnt orange, and small, striking pops of royal blue.

The dress is fitted through the top and upper body. It features a dramatically gathered drop waist (falling around the hip level) that creates a full, voluminous, bubble or balloon skirt shape.
