Petunia Bubu

Petunia bubu: Joyce’s bubu.

A traditional, Bubu with a loose, flowing fit, generous short sleeves, and a comfortable, relaxed drape. The body of the dress is crafted from a light cotton fabric featuring a subtle, mudcloth-inspired print in a neutral palette of off-white/light grey and black.

The pattern is geometric, with repeating lines, arrows, and block motifs. A bold, V-shaped pattern dominates the neckline, rendered in a striking, solid true red satin fabric.

The most unique feature is the voluminous, long red fringe that runs along the entire bottom hemline of the dress. This fringe adds incredible movement, texture, and a modern edge to the traditional silhouette.
